Wow, I didn\'t realize that there was an organization of people that love baby think it over dolls as much as I do. I\'m so glad. I am a 29 year old mother of five and I still enjoy collecting. Thank you for sharing all your photos with your baby dolls.

I recently purchased a g4.1 baby girl without the electronics box. I was trying to find info to see if purchasing a box was something I wanted to do. I decided it wasn\'t, because it seemed like all it would do is give the doll a horrible cry and putting a key in her back to stop it didn\'t sound like much fun.[:-| So, I put an inexpensive battery operated clock mechanism in her back and made a fleece pouch to hold hand warmers..the kind that last 8 hours or so..she now has a heartbeat and body heat! Much nicer than a loud unhappy cry.

It's me again :) so I'm sitting with the RealCare baby ii plus that I rented for my birthday. She is a little japanese girl and she is too cute! Unfortunatly today is my last day with her, because I only got her for one week. I'm only in 8th grade, so I will get to do this again in high school for free. Someday I hope I will be able to afford to buy a RealCare baby. That would be so cool. You guys are such an inspiration to me. You remind me that I should be who I am, and love what I love. And I love baby dolls! Though, I haven't gotten my confidence worked up enough to let people people from school know yet. This site it the best! I really love all the photos from your babies trips. I'm renting a RealCare baby 2 in a few weeks for my birthday. I'm so exited aout it, thats all I've been talking about for, like, the past few weeks! I wish I could afford to buy one, but I can't. Anyway, I watched the RealCare baby demos on YouTube, and those really helped me feel more prepaired for caring for the baby. Thanks for posting them, I plan to post my on vidoes on YouTube of my experiences. I'm not sure what gender/sex I'm getting yet. I hope to get a white boy or girl. I would name a boy Cody, and a girl Aimee. So, thanks again for creating an amazing website, and posting helpful videos!

I love your website i came across it by accident and it was soo positive! I did something yesterday evening im real tickeled about!I have a doll family very similar to your presidents and have been finding dolls at the thriftstore weighting them making them powderfresh and giving them little layettes to donate to nursing homes and homeless ladies through shelters- but having just discovered the btios this year - we have 2 they do not have their inner workings but they are lovely babies just the way they are- i really wanted one that worked- i thought well this is something i can pursue when my last teenager is grown as the cost is prohibative for me at the moment-but when we were at the thriftstore my husband found a baby alive the old ones with the little bracelet on the hand you push for more activities- he bought another btio baby without the articulating neck and took the back plastic and silicone out ( he promised he put the baby to sleep 1st:) ran a knife around the edge of the head seperating it from the neck - unscrewed the top plate on bottom of head- ran a knife around the remaining circle-re moved the neck also with a slite cut around edge of torso- opened a good side rectangle on back of head - then with the outer body ready- he trimed the arms of the baby alive down to the shoulders and hips being very careful on the electronic arm to gently pull out the wire without cutting it -he drilled a little hole in the mouthof the btio-now his exterior was completed he set the baby alive body in the body of the btio and the head in the head of the btio so the moths matched- which miricle of miricles they seemed to do automatically put alittle s tuffing between the baby alive head and the btio head and put the back piece of head back on i thin he used black electical tape andstaples from a staple gun then glued a preety little black cassity 15-15 wig on- the head of the baby alive secured the btio head so we didnt need a new neck- um i think i forgot - when he prepared the btio body he cut out the top rectangle of the btio back so you could access the baby alive controles- then when he was all done he taped up the back so only the controles of the baby alive were visable though i can easily cut the tape to replace batteries and tape it back up now- then i got to powder and dress my little baby- he made a little bottle with a long nail through the nipple- when i turn on my new baby ! he laughs and coos and cries and eats with sucking sounds and i can push his arm to make more activities- not as random as a real btio but real preety voice and the most random doll ive found out there -- hes areal cutie - i just thought someone else might want to try this sometime it was just so amayzing it was as if this sturdy smaller sized their littles i think baby alive was meant to fit inside - another thing weve done is gotten those sound buttons from bountiful baby and sewn them in little vests form my other btios so they can cry and laugh and talk together when you push their butons that was about a 15 dollar project and i dress them over the vests but its fun to hear them talk even if they dont have their real workings - i obviously have a really patient husband- i just thought i would share these ideas with you all as i get soo much enjoyment from your site and perhaps someone else would like a doll that coos but cant afford yet a completly working btio- my most sincere regards to you all :) susan

i haved carryd a gen 5 three times in high school, and i loved every momnet of it, There was one time in we had a guest speaker and he asked me if she was okay LOL. I now own 2 of them. as i was reading on this website i am not alone, sometimes when i have them out some people have not heard of them, some people or like why dont you have a real baby. but i love my dolls
