I serve with \"E\" Troop at Fort Meade and was wounded in the battle on the 19th of June 1944. Spent almost 15 months in the Hospital and am a 80 percent disabled Vet.. Would love to see the Fort again. I have a story about Col Tully\' on the front line if his family is interested in it.

I am a grandson of Joseph M. Tully, commander of the 4th Cavalry during WWII. My father, Harry A. Clark, married the colonel's daughter (Frances Tully) and fought in WWII as XO of the 24th Reconnaissance Squdron, 4th Cavalry Group. I have been looking online for the history of the 4th cav during the war. Robert T. Clark

My uncle, John Komatar, was stationed at Fort Meade in the late 1930's. I was told he was a top sergeant in a cavalry unit during WW2. He was killed in March 1945. I'm looking for anyone who knew him or knows anything about him.
