I serve with \"E\" Troop at Fort Meade and was wounded in the battle on the 19th of June 1944. Spent almost 15 months in the Hospital and am a 80 percent disabled Vet.. Would love to see the Fort again. I have a story about Col Tully\' on the front line if his family is interested in it.

I\'m son of Jack Rhoades who commanded 4th Squadron in WWII. Just read book outlineing 4th Cav\'s role in Indian wars. Now I know why dad knew so much about Indians! He knew the Regt history!

Have met a few of the great WWII soldiers over the years. Now a ret soldier myself. Recently in Germany at Halle, where 4th ended WWII.

My brother has 2 letters that my great grandfather sent home back describing his experiences, about Vittorio and the Navajos.I've got a Veterans association pin badge of his.
