Good deal on 700c wheelset at Performance
After looking around for a while for a 700c wheelset (I'm going to be building up a Zenetik frameset) I saw that Performance has a wheelset with Ultegra hubs and Mavic Open Pro CD rims on sale for 229.98, and a 10% off coupon that brings the price down to $206.98. This seemed like a good deal to me so I just ordered a set.
I ordered a raw aluminum Z Tour frameset from RANS with the Z Pro carbon seat and a lower end carbon fork upgrade. My local powdercoater gave me an estimate over the phone of $50-70 to powdercoat it. I've been collecting parts and will use some that I have in the boneyard. Looking forward to having it all together, maybe in a month or so?
