Re: Cledrau Coll

Article:
The eight-part Cledrau Coll (Lost Rails) series, in which presenter and rail buff Arfon Haines Davies walks old railway routes with historian Gwyn Briwnant Jones, is broadcast in Wales on S4C on Sunday nights at 2030, and repeated Friday afternoons on S4C Digital at 1430. There are no current plans for other repeat showings, although there are plans for a second series next year.

Broadcast in Welsh with teletext subtitles in English, the series also features historic film of trains on the routes and is produced for S4C by HTV Wales, but there are no plans for an English language version.

The episodes in the series deal with:

October 8th Ruabon - Bala

October 15th Pontardawe - Swansea

October 22nd Oswestry-Llanfyllin

November 5th Lines in the Merthyr Tydfil area

November 12th Gaerwen - Amlwch

November 19th Carmarthen - Newcastle Emlyn (Gwili Valley)

November 26th Colliery lines in South Wales

December 3rd Afonwen - Bangor

Replying to Original Article:

I've just seen an episode of 'Cledrau Coll' about the line to Amwlch on S4C, about lost railways in Wales.

Does anyone know how many more epiosdes there are in the series, and if they will be repeated ?
