In our september-IFC-newsletter we reported :

"______________ My So-Called Lungs

We are happy to report that our most recent documentary, "Laura's Diary: My

So-Called Lungs", generated an unprecedented response. The story chronicles

two years in the life of 21-year-old Laura Rothenberg, who has cystic

fibrosis. Laura's story aired August 5th, and All Things Considered

producers say they got more email from this one story than any other they

can remember. Laura is thrilled. In fact, she is now working on a book

about her experiences with cystic fibrosis.

More info is available on our website: www.radiodiaries.org

You can hear the full documentary, get occasional updates about Laura, and

read recent articles about her story in the New York Times and US News and

World Report. Finally, we've also posted a reminder on the site, which is

worth repeating here: please sign up to be an organ donor on the back of

your drivers license.

We will have CDs available in early September. If you would like to buy a

CD of "My So-Called Lungs" you can visit the NPR online store.
