Since 1998, the Worldwide Water foundation has been involved in well-drilling and water resource projects in Romania and Argentina. During this time, the founder saw the need for a ship to lift and transport heavy drilling equipment, carry large quantities of humanitarian goods and provide entry to inaccessible areas. He invested two years and funded the search for such a ship.
