Re: Re Help

Hi Andy and everyone else who reads this forum. No-one seems to be puting much information on the site or starting any discussions (other than advertising!)I thought I'd change that here and now! I have had major spine surgery twice, after some accidents and several years of pain and disability. One of the "peripheral" problems is both bowel and bladder incontinence due to damaged nerves in the spine which also affects both arms and one leg and causes numbness and muscle weakness. I am 46 and have not managed to find anyone else in my age range who has (or is prepared to admit to) both bladder and bowel incontinence. I also have IBS (a bowel problem) which contributes to the dificulties. In addition, I have a minor heart problem, migraine, tinnitus and have been heard of hearing since measles at age 7. If that sounds like a lot to cope with, then believe me, it sure is! I still manage to get around in an adapted car although I cannot walk much or stand for long. I still have a sense of humour and enjoy socialising and reading as well as trying to enjoy my garden and my 2 cats. If you would like to chat to me or share experiences please post a reply! Andy, it would be nice if you shared more of yourself on the forum since you started it off! Cheers! Pauline.
