I worked as a phone Psychic

Hi, I worked as a phone psychic for two years. I had better luck than the actor in the article, but that is because my grandmother was a professional Tarot Reader in Eastern Europe before WWII, and then in Bavaria afterwards. Eventually, when my husband faced 6 months of joblessness, I got really stressed out and decided to try out Tarot Cards to see if they would reveal when he would find re-employment - which all took place when Enron fell. Keep in mind that I'm a Born-Again Evangelical Christian who has been brain washed into believing that all occult activities lure demons and I was completely afraid to try them out. I had $20 bucks of Christmas money left over from my mom, and decided to spend it on the cards and sat in the car literally shaking like a leaf from fear of demons while I opened them, and then invested several months into reading up on how to use them, memorize their meanings and etc. I finally felt confident enough in using them to use them on another person - a friend whose husband was also unemployed by Enron, and who had also lost $500,000.00 from Enron. She was in tears. Her reading revealed that a woman would call with a job in a colder climate, would offer less money but treat him better on the job front. This was on a Friday. I had a dream to the same effect - her child William pointed out the garage window to a moving van, which the family was loading for a move while the husband stood quietly by in dark, pin-striped interview suit and tie. William pointed at the same scene three times and each time I saw it closer. I woke in a sweat and wrote the dream down, and gave it to my friend on Sunday morning. She talked incessently throughout the reading and disregarded the dreams, so I blew it off. She declared to me before the reading that she was not a believer in it either. Monday morning at 9 a.m. she called me and told me that a woman had indeed called her husband about a job in a different state - a colder climate and had him fly up on the next available flight, which was wednesday. By the next wednesday, she was invited to fly up with her husband, where he was offered a job for less pay, but my friend told me that they were so nice, her husband could not refuse the job. Long story short, he took the job and they sold their him in a very unlikely Houston real estate market in only 3 months, when the usual home-sale time is no less than 18 months! My friend remains an unbeliever...I have had much success using the cards since that time and could go on and on about details. Once for example, I was invited to a Bible Study, and before I left to go to it, I pulled three cards. They indicated "gifts of gratitude", "success", and also that a black haired man would help me. When I got to the home where the study was being held, I was the second person to attend. I was introduced to an 85 year old man (I was in my late 30's at the time) who had very obvioulsy dyed his hair jet black!!! A chilll went down my back. AFter that the party was interupted by late-comers, who brought "thank you" gifts to the hostess. The party came to a grinding halt while everyone gathered around to inspect the neon colored packages and their contents - like a spotlight had been put on the late arrivers and their thank you gifts - very wierd. I had forgotten that the one card was about gifts of gratitude and when I found out later, I had to stop using the cards for a while, they gave me the creeps. Eventually I went to work for a psychic phone line, and took the job very seriously. I knew my job unlike the actor, and did it well. I had a 95% success rate with my callers and what the cards revealed about them, because I studied and also may have "the gift", or maybe it's just luck. I also went to work for a metaphysical center in my city for 2 years, and saw real clients in person, earning $10.00 per 20 minute reading, the center keeping the other $10.00. The Phone line, like the actor reported, did not get much action. I worked for Psychic Power Network, a very reputable company who believed we were psychics, and paid us on time and so on. But we were required to be available (meaning our phones were logged in) for 30 hours per week, and I did not get many calls at all - they did have many psychics staffed however, so the competition was pretty fierce, as people log on-line and choose the psychic that appeals to them the most. I did have one person hang up on me for being "off", and at the metaphysical center, one person's "energy" came in at me like a wall of bad feelings and I could not read for her - her reading was way off, and she was very upset about it, but she made me extreemly nervous before she so much as entered the room, and I was told by more experienced psychics that it was her energy repelling the reading and blocking my abilities than me not being able to read well for her. I continue to do Tarot readings and psychic parties for others in my general area.
