Steve - first off Spy Satellites - I was answering your initial theory where you said "if spy satellites can see newsprint from Orbit, why can't they see the Apollo Landers on the Moon?" (or words to that effect). In effect I was defending your contention that such a satellite WOULD be able to see the Moon Landers. That such a Satellite DOES NOT exist is a moot point.

Who am I? Well I could ask the same question of you. I'm a "critical" thinker with a degree in Psychology and 6 A-levels (three A grades in Science related subjects - Maths, Physics and Chemistry). I currently work as an IT Manager for a medium sized recruitment firm in the UK. I have an IQ of over 150 (well, according to the most recent tests I have taken).

My Proof? Well as the philosopher you no doubt ARE you will be aware that there is NO SUCH THING AS POSITIVE PROOF in science. You can prove that something is NOT TRUE, but you CANNOT prove that it IS. Thus the burden of Proof falls on you.

However I have seen enought to know that it is/was definitely possible to do so, and, it would have been easier to DO it than to Fake it (have you seen this site, can you prove that all the photos/movies are Fake? http://www.hq.nasa.gov/alsj/frame.html, can you prove that even one of them IS?).

Yup it did have rockets - it didn't "fall all the way from the moon" the LAST stage didn't have rockets (possibly). No Wings? Well, not as such, but the capsule was so shaped to have SOME of the actions of a wing at the high speeds/low atmospheric pressures of the higher atmosphere.

NO. Not magically - through the "appliance of science" First a DROGUE chute was released to slow it slightly (a VERY SMALL Parachute) but still enough to slow the capsule down enough to release the REAL parachutes which (YOU are quite right) would have been shredded if released while travelling at "mach 10".
