YOU brought up the "spy satellites that can read newsprint" not me.
I'm just showing that IF they existed (THEY DON'T) then it WOULD BE POSSIBLE to see the Apollo LMs (both the Ascent stages (which were crashed into the Moon after having done their job) and the descent stages) using them.
There is MORE than enough evidence to prove to the critical thinkers amongst us that the Moon Landings WERE NOT FAKE, of course this does not coincide with your world view so you rubbish anybody who has been convinced that they WERE real.
Every Argument you have proposed (that I have seen) that the Moon Missions were faked has been "debunked" here or elsewhere.
Your unbacked assertion that the Drogue Parachute would get ripped to threads the moment it was released is LAUGHABLE at best. You show a lack of knowledge of Physics which astounds me.
Clavius has explained this better than I ever could.
I will do this WITHOUT Maths, as this obviously offends you!
Do you understand:
1) Air Pressure decreases with Altitude
2) There is NO AIR in space.
3) When the Command Module hit the earths atmosphere it "burned up" a lot of speed due to its shape (in fact it could well have burnt up completely if the "angle of attack" has been greater).
3a) The CM was NOT like a large dart, unless you consider it being a Dart going backwards...
4) The SMALL Drogue Parachute was designed to be used at high speeds - to provide a small amount of Drag to slow the CM down to the point that the "landing" parachutes could be deployed
OK. You say the Parachute would be torn to pieces because of the ludicous speed at which the CM would be travelling. I'm SURE this WOULD be the case if the CM were travelling at such a speed at the Earth's surface (More Air Molecules because the Air Pressure's higher). With the low air pressure "up high" the chute will NOT be ripped to threads.
You say something like: throw a rock at 70mph with a tissue attached it will be torn to threads.. YES, quite probably. BUT tie a small piece of silk to it and it will not. The Drogue chute is MUCH MORE like the small piece of silk than the tissue, in fact it is more like the piece of string than the tissue!
Have you ever seen Drag Racing? They use the same principle to slow down. They Zoom along at stupid speeds. Release a Drogue chute after they've done their 1/4 mile (or whatever) slowing them slightly, THEN large chutes are released to slow the car completely.
Sure the deceleration is larger when the main chutes are released, there will be a "tug", but this will not even be as much as the "G's" at Launch (and, as Clavius says, the Astronauts were seated so that any decelration stresses would push them into their seats).
I'm sure you will dismiss the above in your usual "style", but please at least think about what I've said - dispute it if you will, BUT use Logic & FACTS (e.g. what speed a Normal Parachute will "rip to shreds" would be a good starting point) not supposition and unsupported assertions.
I will make ONE note in your favour - Clavius raised Terminal Velocity - this is only relevant if the object started at rest. In this case the object had much more speed than terminal velocity when it hit the atmosphere, thus the need for Drogue chutes and the CM initially scrubbing speed via Aerobraking. However the atmosphere is always trying to reduce your speed to the terminal velocity (why Aerobraking & Parachutes work).
Oh, programs... look up the etymology, no don't bother I'll do it for you. The sense in which you are talking (about Programming people) only came up after the advent of Computers (i.e. 1945 onwards). And was only used in the figurative sense meaning "to train to behave in a predetermined way" from 1963. Far earlier than that it was used to mean "a definite plan or scheme" (1837) and this is the way in which it is meant for the "Apollo Program". Which, I'm pretty sure, predates 1963, yup, Apollo started in 1961 following Kennedy's speech, so they couldn't have meant it "your way" in this case.
