Happy someone else finally chimed in, but unhappy with the same (yawn) lame response.
Ok this one's easy. Drag. What drag you expect was produced by the dart (didn't you read the term I used) "dart" because basically, that's what it was .. and worse a wingless dart.
The module would produce such miniscule drag it wouldn't even be considered nor enter into the equation of the physics involved. Any grade four physics student should know this. Solid objects of this shape fall to earth like a lead ball and as they fall they increase speed not decrease. Even not so pointy round objects. So go jump off a 200 foot cliff open your arms and feet and you find out the hard way.
You'll fall faster they higher up you start. Sheesh.
Why do I have to stoop this low?
The only drag that could be produced by this dead dart would be parachutes of which again, is at the heart of the issue (of my focus) and of which are impossible to work.
Obviously I'm not dealing with too bright an crowd here so if you plan on replying with nothing more than a rehash of your impossible drag story, I won't respond. I need to know how parachutes could open and hold and if there's a possibility they held, how crushed were the ceramic skulls of the test-dummies inside. I don't enjoy educating grade four students either so let's have someone with an IQ above mine (140). I mean this kindly. Thank you.
