Re: LUNAR HOAX: "A week to swap out Hubble's mirror"
Steve obviously knows very little about Hubble or its servicing missions. First off, there was no "swapping out" of mirrors on Hubble: a corrective optics package was inserted in place of one of the existing instruments. Second, even though the mission to do this took over a week, this exchange only took a few hours. For the rest of the time, the astronauts were busy replacing the gyros, the solar arrays, and the Wide-Field/Planetary Camera (one of the key instruments), putting protective covers on parts of the telescope, and boosting Hubble to a higher orbit - and all this after the several days it takes the shuttle to rendezvous and dock with the spacecraft.
