We took the one day "Holy Island, Bamburgh & Alnwick Castle – Northumberland & The Scottish Borders" tour on Friday, April 13th. This was a great choice as we saw some fabulous castles and scenery along the way. Our guide was Peter who impressed us with his wealth of knowledge and ability to recall so many specific dates. I have a hard time remembering my family member's birthdays let alone historic dates! The weather was spectacularly bright and sunny which, of course, added to our enjoyment. I'd highly recommend this trip to visitors who have been to Scotland before and are looking for new areas to explore.
