I was on the 3 day Skye tour from 16 to 18 August and it was absolutely great! Our guide and driver Tim Porteus is an exceptionally fine storyteller as well as a driver who really knows the places. He found spots for famous sights that aren't overcrowded (we had Loch Ness all for our group), was always friendly and helpful and managed, I think, to make the trip rewarding for all the people in a group from many countries (I remember China, Taiwan, India, Canada, Australia, and us three from Switzerland...). On Skye, with the unstable weather, Tim drove us to a part in the sun, and we had a walk with stunning views. But first of all I would like to praise his ability to create immersion into the landscape - it came alive through the stories he told us. Also, the accomodation Timberbush Tours booked for us was great, a really nice, clean and friendly B&B in Portree a short walk from the town centre. I can recommend this tour highly, especially with Tim :-)
