If I withdraw money at a Santander bank in Salou how does the exchange rate work (excuse my ignorance if this sounds a daft question)Would I get the exchange rate they offer in the UK at that time or do they have a different rate in Salou.
I have an account with Santander therefore get free withdrawals so would it be worth waiting till we get to Salou and just withdrawing money as we need it or would we get a better deal exchanging here in th uk?
I have used my Santander card many times in Spain during the last year and never had any problems. The exchange rate was very fair and clearly printed on the receipt. Hope this helps.
