Can anyone let me know what will be open for New Year in salou. Thinking of visiting for a few days from 30 Dec to 2 Jan, family of 4. Are any hotels open?

There are normally 4 or 5 hotels open in tourist Salou. You will find at least one open in Old Salou. They tend to rotate from one year to another but the Caspel always seems to be open. Use alpharooms or hotel.com to find out availability.


All of Old Salou will be open but it will be predominantly Spanish. It does not shut like the tourist area. There are normally a few pubs open for the Winter... namely Rio Grande, Shamrock and Shankleys.
New Years Eve is usually celebrated in style at The Victoria. Also the Esmeralda have started their own party
