The UK Government wish to double the departure tax which you currently pay everytime you leave our shores (Maybe they know we'll pay anything to get away )

Anyway, they want to do this without a thought for peoples pockets or the thousands of people employed by already struggling airlines and naturally they don't care what damage it would do to tourism abroad.
