Thinking of getting a prepaid card instead of travellers cheques before trip to Salou on 21 July.

read that these can be used at any ATM to withdraw money or indeed like a debit card within shops etc.

Are prepaid cards, e.g FX readily accepted in Salou in this way and are ATM's accessible around the resort?

hi madla just got back to day,i took a preloaded co-op travel card,all the atms take them you can draw out 500 a day i had no problem,and would use again,shops don't take them because it is not chip and pin,all you do is wait for a good rate and buy your euros the rate you get is the rate you keep no up or down and when you come back you get the same rate if you cash them in hope this helps,have a fab time, i did
