I returned on monday from Salou, with a family of three and found it to be excellant value.We were half board in the Salou Princess but ate out a few nights and found food and drink to be cheap.You could get a pint of local beer for 1.50 euros and a decent meal for around 20 euros, we have been to Benidorm and santa Ponsa in the last few years but salou was by far the best, it was only expensive when you buy imported spirits, we bought a vodka and coke and a baileys and it was 9 euros, a good holiday with nice resort and hotel.

Great to hear you had a good break Stephen & family, and a good heads-up for travellers yet to get there this year. Did your little lad get spoilt?!! We agree, Salou ticks a lot of boxes for me & Mrs Jacko, relax with a good book & a coffee, or sing for Britain at some random karaoke bar. A tad more reserved than Benidorm, but with the familiar stuff available if needed. Roll on next Tuesday. BTW, did you call in at Linda's?
