Always pop in to see John at the Red Lion whenever i'm in Salou.

Never hear the place mentioned on here so i just thought I'd ask if John is still there and is it still open?

I am pretty sure John is still there and yes the Red Lion is still open. A few years back it became a much larger pub than it was, I'm thinking it was completely refitted about 5 years ago, but time goes so quick it was probably longer ago than that.

From memory I think the Red Lion extended out into what was called Gabbas. Maybe 3 years ago this Summer.

Actually, and sorry to correct you AV Kid , it was extended to take in the smaller karaoke Bar next door.
Gabbers was(is) further down Carles Buigas..much further down , and is now called Wetherspoons, or some such

Thanks Lurker.... my memory is poor.... what was the Karaoke bar next door called? I seem to remember it sometimes opened at 6am!

Always remember thinking it was strange hearing Ianm sound like a typlical boro lad, then hearing him blirt out fluent spanish (I know he spanish).
