Going to Salou soon want to visit Barcelona. Is it easier to get their by train or by the bus? Are there toilets on the train and buses? Need to know for my kids!!
Well I prefer the train to the bus but the Salou station is at the Southern end of the town and you might have a 10 to 15 minute walk to the station. All depends where you are staying.
The train to Barca tracks the coast for large parts of its journey so the views are fantastic. Go into Google Maps, type in 'Salou, Spain' without the quotes and you will see the rail track going through Salou. If you follow it out towards the right of Salou you will see how it hugs the coast.
Sometimes there is not a buffet car so worth preparing a little 'doggy bag' for yourself and the kids with some drinks and snacks. There is a toilet on the train.
