Prickly Heat

Hi

I am coming to Salou next month and suffer from ******* heat, just wondering if any one else on here does and have they found anything that works for them?

Many thanks

Re: ******* Heat

Hi,

Use a total sunblock.

You could try some antihisteminic stuff... but consult a doctor as these cannot be used continuously.
The positive effects wear off and I think the body becomes dependent.

Ask a doctor?

Lost

Re: ******* Heat

hi i used to get that all the time when i went abroad and had to take piriton tablets or other antihystemines. ask your local chemist as i'm sure you can buy over the counter.

Re: ******* Heat

As I said......................................... before you take antihistamines ask a doctor as they have different effects on different people.

Re: ******* Heat

give vinegar a try
if you get it... wash down with vinegar and then have a shower to get rid of the smell.

also a very good remedie for sunburn ...
just get in the shower and splash vinegar over the sore bits, sort of dab it on and let it dry then do it again, then have a shower to get rid of the smell or the wasps will love you...

on the other hand best to avoid in the first place by keeping covered

tell your friends about vinegar

Re: ******* Heat

I suffered from this for years. Now I always use Piz buin allergy sun cream or ambre solaire sensitive. Boots sensitive is also good. I cant use any sun cream that hasnt allergy/sensitive protection even at home or out the rash comes. Very uncomfortable and ugly too! I bring piriton with me just in case and have had no problems with this horrible rash for a few years. (touch wood)
