Hello folks. We had a good study group today at Tristan's home. We read Paper 144, "At Gilboa and in the Decapolis". This paper deals with prayer and includes the "Believer's prayer" and the Other forms of Prayer from other worlds. A few things noted in these other prayers was that the universal bestowal of thought adjusters has not yet occurred on one of these worlds. The tree of life seems to be present on one of the other worlds. I guess if their Material Son and Daughter did not default, the tree of life would still be there (as well, I presume, a visible Adam and Eve).
Jesus's non-involvement in his and John's apostles was also interesting. He just left them for 2 weeks to sort out their social problems.
We then read and discussed paper 145, section 3. The Healing at Sundown. It must have been incredible to be there when all those supermaterial beings came down and healed all those 683 people!!
