How old, did you say?

From this website:
http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/through-the-wormhole/

"Every cosmologist and astronomer agrees: our Universe is 13.7 billion years old. Using cutting-edge technology, scientists are now able to take a snapshot of the Universe a mere heartbeat after its birth. "

That seems rather young, doesn't it? If our planet is supposed to be around 4 billion yrs old, it doesn't seem to fit with what we see 'out there', the novas, galaxies, nebulae etc.

The UB gives us a few hints here and there and it might be fun to look at what some early readers came up with.
Anyone interested?

Re: How old, did you say?

I think this would be interesting. Did Bill Sadler have anything to say in his book the Master Universe?
