Ta for the mention Nick... here is my tuppence worth. Salou has two similar forums. Whilst their use has somewhat diminished over the last few years both are still looked at daily. In comparison, the Benidorm uncovered forum was last looked at in 2009 and the Tripadvisor forum for the same place has only ever had 3 posts in its history. Facebook has several 'Salou' pages and groups who people use them on a regular basis - a lot of youngsters in particular are unfamiliar with the forum format, which in honesty is now somewhat dated and could do with a revamp. Forums are now more commonly used for... lets say.... private practices with people having to sign in and have private chats about whatever. Facebook and Twitter have all but replaced the open forum. Also, do not forget that posts maybe answered out of forum using the poster's email. It may say zero replies but the question may have been answered via email

You are better asking any questions on the Salou forum on Tripadvisor (link below), no disrespect meant regular users of this forum. Tripadvisor is used frequently by travellers to Salou and most questions are answered, usually fairly quickly as well.
