Nose of Seat
Dear CFers,,,,, When I look at the nose on my seat it does not line up squarely with the rest of my bike (ie top tube) when I look at the seat from behind my bike. any suggestions? Craig Hattam |

I have a Fusion..... It does not affect my riding comfort..... but, it does look awkward and would love to fix it.... It is only off a nudge or two to the right... |

Craig, I have noticed a couple of my bikes the seats are off a bit. I never noticed it to create any comfort issue, however A simple fix we have tried is slowly and carefully hand file the key way slot wider in the direction to rotate it level. As long as you tigthen the seat with it rotated agains the slot. Seems to work on the one bike we tried it on. Hope that works for you, please let us know. |

Randy, Considering my mechanical ability (read inability), I am going to leave the seat alone and see what happens..... The Fusion works great right now, am not going goof with anything right now! But, thanks for the fix..... |

Have you tried loosening the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the seatpost? Should give you a little bit of movement that might be enough to straighten it. |

Brent, I am going to try the idea about the seat. In fact, that was what the bike shop suggested as a try. |
