Curved riser and standing

I find with my new Dynamik, that I am leaning forward too much for my back to feel comfortable. I have more than my share of back pain and I don't want riding to cause more. I am thinking of going to the curved riser and turning it to face back to move the bars closer to me. The only problem is that I got the Dynamik to use as a MTB and I really want to be able to stand when needed. Will using the curved riser negate my ability to stand on the Dynamik? If so, are there other options to bring the bars closer to me that will still allow me to stand and pedal when needed?

How about tweener bars?

Re: Curved riser and standing

I think I solved my own problem today. I put on some bars with a couple of inches of rise and a 40 degree rearward sweep. I then put on the long 7" riser to raise them up a little. We had a beautiful day for the first time in weeks and I put 28 miles on the new setup and it felt pretty good.
