Any luck with the Polar computer on CFs?
Seems like the measurements of, say, a Street are just a bit beyond Polar's recommended distances between computer and speed sensor (50mm or about 20") and between computer and cadence sensor (80cm or about 31"). Any experiences, positive or negative, with this computer on a CF? |

Dear Customer, Thank you for your email. You are correct the max distance between the Speed sensor and the cycling computer is 50cm 1' 6". If the distance is grater than that, you will not receive the speed signal. You can look into the CS600 WIND where you can install the speed sensor in the rear stay if you like and will still pick up the signal. For further information please visit the link below. http://polarusa.com/Products/cs/cs600.asp?cat=consumer If you need further assistance please feel free to contact Customer Service at 800-227-1314 or 516-364-0400. Thank you for choosing Polar. Customer Service POLAR ELECTRO INC. |

The answer is... The CS200cad works fine mounted on the Street handlebars, beyond the recommended range by at lest 50%. Rick |
