Hi all
I took the scenic route out of Morriston hospital last week and after a rather fab road found myself near Ammanford, from whence I tracked towards Gwaun Cae Gurwen before heading off in the Sennybridge direction: en route I passed the remnants of the GCG/Abernant branch and a shop front announcing itself as the 'Amman Valley Railway Society' - the shop seemed closed up but what I could see of the line, including a couple of level crossings seemed in quite good condition. The AVRS website, on the other hand, seems not to have been updated for about 18 months. I was wondering what the current state of paly was? Many thanks/Diolch yn Fawr. Simon. |
