Message:   I am pleased to inform you that we will no longer be catering for your race meetings and you will now have the previous caterers(apparently longed to get rid off). I feel great disappointment that you did not inform us of your poor quality food at the time of purchase and can only apologies for this. In foresight our aim to provide you all with as much of a selection of food as possible has probably been our shortfall. I can assure you that all food purchased has been freshly ordered or come delivered frozen from the wholesaler and contrary to believe there is a very small profit margin which obviously affects the quality of food cooked and the price we charge. We would like nothing more than to serve up 100% beef burgers reared on British soil but would you the customer be prepared to pay for this and I am sure I am write in saying NO!
If the food was soo awlful! where is there also a complaint for us leaving Lamberhurst on a Saturday evening? We did visit every trailer/camper in the field before we left and apart from the family that left the message nobody else wanted to eat. Unfortunately, after being stuck in the field, left stranded on a slope which does cause a hazard when cooking from sloping fryers! being covered in mud from crawling and sliding in the field where we definitely had dirty uniform and hands, we are a business and can not afford to cook on the off chance some body may eat with us.
All our food hygiene certificates are with in date and apologies for a dirty apron, but that would have been it! We constantly use bacterial spray on the worksurface & hands and after 8 hrs of cooking/serving I am sure some ketchup is going to get somewhere!
Bacon was available for morning breakfast and once the lunchtime menu was available you and approx 4 others asked for bacon, so apologies once again to those people for not being able to provide the service you required.
Please accept my sincere apologies for not providing the service you all expected as this was never our intentions and may be in future you would talk to your caterers direct so they can rectify the problems immediately.
We would welcome any feedback positive or negative.
