Message:   I'm inclined to agree with you Aden although I will reserve judgement until I actually see the options.
I am not at all inclined to buy new paintball pants though. I love my JT pants especially the old Bull Denim ones nothing better for non-heat wave play. And the ones I have with the zip off legs are great for when its hot. So any choice that allows me to wear my existing pants is
