The First Team were at home against Drayton in the league they started brightly with some good possession and even created a couple of good chances. However the Drayton keeper was is fine form as he somehow managed to save an effort from Flash. Tipically against the run of play Drayton hit Grove on the counter attack and scored with a header at the far post. Grove continued to battle but without creating any real clear cut opportunities.
Grove came out in the second half knowing that they needed a goal, however dispite their best efforts it just wouldn't happen. Both Moley and Ben Eltham put shots just over and Whitty's looping header landed on the roof of the net. The game finist 0 - 1 to Drayton.
