Returned Member - Wanted: Yuengling Cans, Pictures, and Information
Rejoined member #8154 back after 30 year absence. This time I’m only collecting cans filled by D.G. Yuengling & Son of Pottsville, PA. Looking for flat tops and cone tops, plus the 1997 - Lord Chesterfield Ale green mistake can with Chesterfield’s pic at the top of the can (it had 164 yrs listed instead of 168 yrs). Hello Bill, Thanks for re-joining and welcome back! This year's Canvention is in Orlando. Now that Yuengling is brewing at the old Schlitz/Stroh's plant in Tampa there may be more interest in Yuengling items, especially in Florida. I've heard that the Yuengling brewery will be supplying the Canvention with beer and there is a rumor that Dick Yuengling himself may be a guest speaker. Hope to see you there!
