Can Close Up column
Fellow beer can collectors, I'm Steve Gordon, Dave Babel's successor for the Can Close Up column. I'm on the lookout for odd/unusual cans that would be a good fit for my column. My first column covered the Old German J-spout discovery from Philipsburg, PA. The next column highlighted 4 seldom seen National Brewing Company pull tab cans. The third column, which I just completed, will be highlighting 4 special (to me) cans that were sold in the early spring (yes, that's a hint). If you've got something you'd like to see highlighted in an upcoming column please let me know. I'd love to chat about your beer cans or your ideas. Cheers! Steve Steve Gordon 24599 |

Love the info and stories that you come up with about cans. Are you going to highlight the little Natty Bohs? Colt cans? They are a story amoung them selves. I personally don't have specific info about them, others might. Keep up the good work! Michael |

Hi Michael, Nice to see you over on this message board! I believe there was a Colt "mini-zip" covered by Dave Babel, but I'd be totally into covering all the little Colt cans. Being not too far from Baltimore, I shouldn't have any trouble finding the cans ongrade. Thanks for the idea! Keep 'em coming!!! Steve |
