Conetop crowns
Can anyone give advise on the best way to place a new cap (crown) on a conetop can. There is a caper for homebrew bottles but the one I have does not grip the neck of a conetop. Any and all suggestions would help. Thanks Jim |

Probably the best way is with an old bottle capper. You placed abottle in the slot (in your case, the conetop) and pulled a lever arm that pushed down a crimping mechanism onto the top of the cap. The sytem does not require any touching of the sides of the can. You can probably find a cheap one on Ebay.... |

For conetop crowns information, other than this, check out my website: www.conetopcaps.com |

The free standing capper works great and never touches the can. I did buy it off Ebay for about $15.00. Thanks for the tip and advice. P.S only the free standing capper works, the ones you hold with both hands above the conetop or crowntainer will not grip the neck of the can. |
