Stanway Screens and Bloor Homes Cut trees down !!!
Bloor Homes have put two plans for a new development to build homes on the Stanway Screens site and Oil Croft Orchard ground but have been refused by wychavon But Bloor has appealed against the refusal. It means a government-appointed planning inspector will make the final decision after a public inquiry is held . Over the last week the trees at the back of Stanway Screens have been cut down at the point of the access to the new development by Bloors. This was one of the refused issues by Wychavon due to the wildlife and the trees blocking the sounds of the large volume of train traffic and enviromental/health and safety issues. Bloors/Stanway Screens are waiting for the final decision by the inspectors but have jumped the gun by cutting the trees down. The trees could have a order on them. This should make the inspectors think twice before allowing the development the go ahead. |
