Two ideas:
1) Player averages should be calculated (divided) by the amount of games they have played, not the amount of rounds in the season.
&
2) just something to add a bit of fun within each league, but how about ranking each team within each league on attack (forwards) midfield (centers) and defense (backmen)? It would be something cool to see who has the best defense/offence/midfield in the league (extra bragging rights). What do you think?
Both good suggestions, I have passed them on for consideration. There are plans to enhance statistics so if taken up they will probably be added to current statistics, providing more information.
Vice -captains!!! After losing Ablett Junior after the round had started, the prospect of having vice-captains makes a lot of sense to me! Just a thought, make the game more like the real game, someone to step up should your captain go down...
That is a good idea Shan, with Ablett and Brown pulling out this weekend, many will have lost their Captain. But it could still happen with both, unlikely, but possible. Maybe the whole captain thing needs a complete re-think.
Another thing that often hurts, is injury early in a game, we have set the interchange to replace scores under 10, rather than 0, to try alleviate this, but if they score, say 12, before injury, it doesnt help much.
We are contemplating how coaches could have more flexibility once the round has started, it's a difficult one, any ideas are welcome?
