Timberbush Visitors' Forum

Welcome to our Forum. Feel free to post a message or a question. We welcome your comments and we love to hear your feedback - so do our guides.

At Timberbush we respect our customers but also our competitors. We understand that you want to compare and contrast your tour experiences and that's important. But  we don't believe in "discrediting" our competitors in order to try to win a customer.  That's why, although we would never edit a customer's comments, we may choose to remove messages mentioning other tour operators' names.

We've always  believed that customers are free to make up their own minds and we're confident that our tours will speak for themselves.

So in the spirit of solidarity, we say, "Vive La Difference !"  and,  "Happy Touring!" from all at Timberbush.

You don't have to post only on TIMBERBUSH or our TOURS. It can be about Scotland;  its history or its culture. It can be anything about Scotland.  If we can't answer a question we will find someone who can!

Or maybe it's a discussion or debate you want to start?

Questions for Gary

Special Hi and great Thank you Gary for taking us last week on Highland Whisky,Waterfall & Woodlands tour around Perthshire. One has to admire your driving skills, tour guidance, and impressive knowledge on the subject. Great thanks to entire Timberbush Tours team, you've organized everything beautifully! Amazing country, wonderful trip -one of those making you go back to Scotland again and again.
Just a couple of questions perhaps you could answer:
1. Where can I read, or perhaps you know a little bit more details about geological history and formation of Schiehallion M. and area around?
2.Do you know anything about the time in history of Scotland, when the Scottish people fought for the Russians during Peter's I (the Great) rule? I was told the Russian tzar had some Scottish officers in the Russian Army? The exact details and circumstances would be extremely interesting to know!
Thanks again, good luck, and see you next time!
Lesley
