Timberbush Visitors' Forum

Welcome to our Forum. Feel free to post a message or a question. We welcome your comments and we love to hear your feedback - so do our guides.

At Timberbush we respect our customers but also our competitors. We understand that you want to compare and contrast your tour experiences and that's important. But  we don't believe in "discrediting" our competitors in order to try to win a customer.  That's why, although we would never edit a customer's comments, we may choose to remove messages mentioning other tour operators' names.

We've always  believed that customers are free to make up their own minds and we're confident that our tours will speak for themselves.

So in the spirit of solidarity, we say, "Vive La Difference !"  and,  "Happy Touring!" from all at Timberbush.

You don't have to post only on TIMBERBUSH or our TOURS. It can be about Scotland;  its history or its culture. It can be anything about Scotland.  If we can't answer a question we will find someone who can!

Or maybe it's a discussion or debate you want to start?

Joining the Gary fan club...

Dear Gary

We would like to join the other passengers who have thanked you in other entries. We went on the "Loch Ness, Glencoe and Highlands" tour at the beginning of July and really enjoyed it. Gary's knowledge of everything and anything to do with Scotland is amazing!

I would advise any future Timberbush passenger to take notes during the bus ride - it is really difficult to remember all the names of places etc when you get home.... We have a couple of photos taken from the bus on the return journey showing a "large white estate" (to the left of the road) - we remember you telling us a lot about it and its owner - but what was the name of the estate????

So - apart from not being able to remember everything and apart from having to put up with three (disrespectful) women at the back of the bus talking loud amongst themselves for most of the day - at their loudest, it seemed, when you were also talking - ("harsh words" from an irritated American passenger didn't help!!)... well, we thought it was a brilliant day...

Keep up the good work -
SA (+ J) from Denmark

PS: Want US to teach YOU something?? Finland is not Scandinavia.... Finland and Iceland are two the five NORDIC countries along with the 3 Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway and Sweden)... and Danes (at least these Danes) do not want to swim or fish in Loch Ness
.....

PPS: Runrig became extremely popular in Denmark about 20 years ago, so although we may be vikings, we have quite good taste in music....(but unfortunately no men in kilts!)
