We play on the Net all the time and only have one phone line.. nobody can call us! What can I do?
There are a few choices.. the best is to get a second line just for the computer, but also.. your phone company has a cheap forwarding service (mine is $2 a month) so when your line is busy, your calls can go to a voice mail service, your cell phone or pager? Also look into Net programs like PaGoo that will let you know when you have messages.

There are settings you can change in your dial-up program to correct this. What you need is for the computer to dial *70, in front of your access number. AOL has it in their setup screen (before you sign on, but in the same box) and for other ISPs you can go to Dial Up Networking and correct your dialer. Contact us if you need help.
